What does the role look like

Were recruiting for an exciting newly created Commercial Business Partner role within the Actuation Systems team. This position will act as the primary financial point of contact for Strategy and Business Development providing highquality financial analysis insight and strategic support across highimpact projects and initiatives within the Actuation portfolio.

As a key member of the Integrated Product Team (IPT) youll work collaboratively across Actuation Value Streams in France Italy and the UK helping to shape future business direction through your commercial and financial expertise.

What will your daytoday responsibilities look like

• Deliver strategic portfolio analysis in collaboration with Business Development Strategy and FP&A teams.
• Lead the segmentlevel financial risks and opportunities process for Business Development.
• Develop and report key metrics that support Business Development objectives.
• Support longterm strategic planning activities for Actuation sites.
• Deliver business cases and proposals for civil programmes on time and in full.
• Provide support for military pursuits and proposals where required.
• Help develop a robust governance process for bids and proposals ensuring CMS compliance.
• Build business cases to support strategic investments and Actuationwide central projects.
• Ensure full compliance with RTX accounting policies US GAAP SarbanesOxley and international accounting standards.

Essential skills:

• Strong analytical skills with experience managing and interpreting large complex data sets.
• Commercial mindset with a solid understanding of business cases and investment analysis.
• Proven ability to communicate financial information effectively to both finance and nonfinance stakeholders.

Desirable skills:

• Experience working in a commercial environment contributing to strategic decisionmaking.
• Track record of continuous improvement and process enhancement.
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to win trust across all levels of the business.
• Experience working across multiple geographies with cultural awareness.
• Prior finance knowledge or qualification would be an advantage.
