Job Description
BASIC FUNCTION : Under the direction of the academic administrator and/or Classified supervisor of Extended Opportunity Programs and Services EOPS /Cooperative Agencies Resources for Education CARE perform daily support services on and offcampus for lowincome under represented and nontraditional students; provide personal vocational and academic information and advice; assist with program development planning and implementation. These will include targeted recruitment outreach student success retention and engagement functions for the EOPS / CARE Program intended to: increase college readiness and attendance; increase awareness of college programs of study and career options; through the matriculation process (orientation assessments and educational planning) prepare students for the transition from high schools served by the college continuing students and the general community within the EOPS / CARE Program eligibility.

Required Qualifications
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE : Any combination equivalent to: Bachelors degree in liberal studies social services psychology or closely related field AND 2 two years experience working with educational and economically disadvantaged students in a college student services program or in programs leading to a college education.
