Job Description

Description

Selected student workers will be working under the direct supervision of the teaching staff; the student worker will support the classroom and centers daily operations to ensure the childrens safety and wellbeing at all times. Student workers will assist assigned teachers with routine tasks and functions that promote health nutrition and personal hygiene; keep the classroom and center clean neat and orderly; assist with inventory of supplies and materials; report needs to teachers; help with supervising the children under the direction of the teachers and assume other duties as delegated or assigned by the teacher.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications:Enrolled in LCCC classes (minimum six credit hours/semester) Must meet the standards of an extensive background check as required by ODJFS AND Willing to attend/complete required training.

Preferred Qualifications:Preferred qualifications include Early Childhood Education students or experience working with children.
