Forming part of the Biotechnology segment at Danaher we bring together dedicated technical expertise and talent to develop the next generation of lifechanging therapeutics.
Cytiva are looking for a temporary 1 year) Research Engineer who will be part ofa committed and talented team in our R&D section based onsite in Uppsala.
In this role you will have the opportunity to:
- Be part of a team working with different steps in a mAb purification process i.e. clarification filtration and purification.
- Analysis in our different project types that is new product development but also market support related activities.
- Harvesting and filtration of feed in larger scale.
- Independently plan perform and report at project meetings and in technical reports.
The essential requirements of the job include:
- MSc in Biochemistry or similar within relevant field and with some experience from chromatography work in the biopharmaceutical field.
- Experienced of using KTA systems and multiple analysis methods (ELISA SEC and BiaCore).
- Resultoriented flexible and creative with a strong collaborative attitude focusing on the customer needs.
- Eagerness to learn and try new things with the drive and capability to initiate plan perform analyze document and present results.
- Advanced English (oral and writing) and working proficiency in Swedish language.
It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:
- With large scale purification equipment and processes with mAb or recombinant proteins. Experience of filtration of biomolecules would be appreciated.
