Roles and Responsibilities
- This role is for an individual to be a Product Manager of Enterprise Switching or Modeling or UIUX within the ADMS product management team.
- Owns the product backlog and stories of our existing ADMS Solutions and feeds into the overall GridOS ADMS product strategy and roadmap.
- Highly skilled on capturing and developing Voice of the customer (VoC)
- Drives consistency and strategy for learning and development for our ADMS portfolio
- Prioritizes defects and supports customer escalations.
- Support presales for specific actions (RFP answers customer presentations etc.. Helps services for specific actions if required beyond training.
- Accountability for functional business and broad company objectives. Integrate and develop processes that meet business needs across the organization be involved in long term planning manage complex issues within functional area of expertise and contribute to the overall business strategy.
- Utilizes indepth knowledge of own and other product lines markets and customer groups and uses analytical thinking and commercial experience to execute policy/strategy.
- Has knowledge of best practices and how the Distribution Network Applications integrate with other parts of the portfolio.
- Is aware of the competition and the factors that differentiate them in the market.
- Uses judgment and can propose different solutions outside of set parameters to address more complicated daytoday problems with projects product lines markets sales processes or customers. Ability to prioritize information for decision making.
- Uses judgment to make decisions or solve moderately complex tasks or problems within projects product lines markets sales processes campaigns or customers. Takes new perspective on existing solutions. Uses technical experience and expertise for data analysis to support recommendations. Uses multiple internal and limited external sources outside of own function to arrive at decisions.
- Developing specialized knowledge of latest commercial developments in own area and communication skills to influence others. Contributes towards strategy and policy development and ensure delivery within area of responsibility.
- Has indepth knowledge of best practices and how own area integrates with others; has working knowledge of competition and the factors that differentiate them in the market
- Acts as a resource for colleagues with less experience. May lead small projects with moderate risks and resource requirements. Explains difficult or sensitive information; works to build consensus. Developing persuasion skills required to influence others on topics within field.
- This Position will mainly be individual contributors.
Desired Characteristics
- Experience working inutility industry as an operator creating and executing Switching processes or
- Experience working in utility industry as a dispatcher or operator runnign an outage management system or
- Background with building and validating Distribution model and attributes
- Experience within the Power Grid Industry
- Domain expertise in both functional (power system engineering control room software applications) and IT (industrial software architectures new technologies such as containerization cloudbased deployments highspeed data buses etc.
- Proven ability to plan influence organize coordinate and write.
- Experience in at least one or two of the following areas: GE ADMS AEMS GIS GridOS DERMS
- Realworld knowledge of Enterprise system integrations and/or experience at a utility
- Proficient in AHA or similar product management tools
- Familiar with agile methodologies Desired Characteristics
