About the role
The Foundation Engineering team is responsible for the automation workflows and tooling for containerization and Kubernetes deployment across the entire Netskope stack. We are expert programmers with broad and deep experience deploying K8s at scale and we do full lifecycle development including requirements analysis technical architecture and design coding / implementation testing documentation and postproduction ownership.

You will be responsible for full lifecycle development including requirements analysis technical architecture & design implementation testing documentation the recipe for deployment to production and postproduction ownership.
What you will be doing
- Design and develop microservices that scale to billions of events
- Contribute to architecture design and implementation of nextgeneration foundational cloud services
- Evaluate open source technologies to find the best fit for our needs and contribute to some of them to meet our unique needs and help the community.
- Coordinate with other service development teams product management and support teams to ensure scalability supportability and availability for owned services and dependent services
Required skills and experience
- 10 years of software development experience
- Excellent programming skills and handson experience with Golang
- Experience designing and developing cloud microservices that are deployed and used at scale
- Good understanding of distributed systems datastructure and algorithms
- Energetic selfstarter with the desire to work in a dynamic fastpaced environment
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Education
- BS Computer Science required MS Computer Science strongly preferred
