Staff Nurse Critical Care/ICU (Bank)
Barts Hospital Nursing Bank Part Time
Up to 30.00 per hour depending on experience
Working on the bank means you are not contracted to a set number of hours per week but instead work on an adhoc basis to suit the needs of the business and your availability.

As a Bank Nurse on the Critical Care Unit at Nuffield Health at St Bartholmews youll drive the standard in patient care. Youll be required to be registered with the NMC and also have postregistration experience within Critical Care. Our Critical Care unit comprises of 7 beds and we look after cardiac surgery breast and general surgical patients. We also act as an outreach service to ensure the ward are supported. Having ILS / ALS / CALS is desirable.
As a Staff Nurse CCU / ITU you will:
Be flexible motivated an excellent communicator and team worker
Join a closeknit team headed by our matron on our consultantled ward
Fully understand and pay close attention to each patients needs
Work directly with some of the best clinical talent around
Gain valuable experience of new practices equipment and facilities
Collaborate with practitioners across other departments to ensure continuity in patient care

Weve opened the doors to Nuffield Health at St Bartholomews Hospital: The City of Londons only independent hospital situated next to St Bartholomews NHS hospital. This is our flagship center for cardiac services and will also provide a full range of surgical and medical services including: orthopaedics oncology general surgery genecology and urology services.
Our hospital consists of 55 beds including 7 Specialist intensive care beds four of the most advanced digital operating theatres and Endoscopy and minor ops theatre. With 28 consultation rooms. Cardiac catheterisation lab Oncology Day unit and full diagnostic imaging suite including MRI CT ultrasound mammography and general Xray.
