The Role
The Workplace Investment Stability Automation & Engineering Team (Quality Engineering COE) looking for Senior Database Administrator with strong database background with Automate Everything mindset to assist Database Virtualization program and in provisioning data using tools/techniques to various WI Agile Squads. In this role you will be applying your strong database administration and automations skills to design develop test deploy maintain and improve workplace investments customerfacing software solutions.
The Expertise and Skills You Bring
- A Bachelors or masters degree in Computer Science Software engineering or related field
- At least 7 years of experience working in a large database and sophisticated production environment onPrem and Cloud
- Strong hands on experience in relational (Oracle PostgreSQLYugabytes RDS Amazon Aurora SQL Server are desirable) and NoSQL (Cassandra CosmosDB DocumentDB DynamoDB)
- Experience working with CI/CD pipelines (Github Jenkins Ansible) and embrace Automate Everything mindset
- Strong handson experience in Delphix
- Knowledge in IBM Optim masking solution
- Expertise with Oracle Golden Gate database replication and data movement strategies & tools
- Proficiency in Scripting languages Python and Unix Shell Scripting
- Handson Experience with Public Cloud environments preferably AWS and Azure.
- Experience with monitoring systems such as CloudWatch Datadog/Splunk ELK stack.
- Knowledge with Kubernetes AKS EKS
- Build solutions that consider our multitenant hybrid Cloud and onPrem environments
- Thought leadership and Research capabilities
- Ability to evaluate and propose bestofbreed tools and engineering bestpractices
- Expertise in conveying technical concepts to internal customers technical team members and/or other technical contributors across the organization
- Deeply selfmotivated with the ability to work independently coordinating activities within crossregional and multifunctional teams
- A passion for excellence innovation and teamwork; eager to learn and adapt every day
- Able to coach team members in areas where you have domain expertise and able to coordinate with partners on
