Lead the People Strategy at Prov Inc. HR Director Opportunity

Just like a wellstructured exam determines the competency of a professional an elite HR leader determines the strength of a company. At Prov we are scaling from a bootstrap operation to a structured business and we need an HR leader who can build from the ground up. With 140 employees (including 2025 FTEs) spread across multiple locations the challenge is clear: develop an HR function that supports both headquarters and remote talent seamlessly.

Your Mission: Elevate People Processes and Performance

As HR Director youll play a key role in:

  • Building and executing a recruitment strategy that attracts top talent while allowing managers to stay engaged in hiring decisions.
  • Creating a structured compensation and payroll framework shifting from adhoc pay approvals to a fair and competitive salary structure.
  • Designing and implementing Provs first performance management system to drive engagement productivity and growth.
  • Ensuring compliance with Utah and national labor laws keeping Prov ahead of the curve in HR best practices.
  • Cultivating a thriving remotefriendly workplace culture that connects employees across multiple locations.

Who Were Looking For

We need an HR strategist talent architect and culture builder. The ideal candidate is:

  • A proactive leader who can build HR processes from scratch and drive strategic initiatives.
  • Experienced in managing remote and distributed teams ensuring engagement beyond just HQ.
  • Wellversed in Utah labor laws and national compliance standards.
  • A strong communicator and relationshipbuilder adept at influencing stakeholders across all levels.
  • A lifetime learner who regularly improving in their knowledge acumen and ability in the field; SHRMSCP preferred; other HR certifications acceptable.
  • Passionate about using data and HR tech solutions to streamline talent management.
