Additional Information
This position may be eligible for a statutory 2.5 an hour base pay increase effective July 1 2025 and on July 1 2026.
The primary location for this position is Helena. Other locations will be considered dependent on available workspace in an existing Office of Public Assistance location. Specific conditions will be provided by the supervisor and must adhere to state and DPHHS policies.
This position may be eligible for moving and relocation reimbursement. Specific conditions will be provided by the supervisor and must adhere to DPHHS policy.

The Montana Department of Public Health and Human Services (DPHHS) has a career opportunity within the Human & Community Services Division.
The Human and Community Services Division provides cash assistance employment training supplemental nutrition assistance (formerly food stamps) Medicaid energy assistance weatherization and other services to help families move out of poverty and toward selfsupport. The Field Administrator position oversees operations of the Offices of Public Assistance (OPA) across the state to attain compliance with regulations oversees the effectiveness of program services and ensures compliance with regulations oversees strategic operations and represents the bureau with internal and external stakeholders. This position directly supervises 4 full time employees and over 300 indirect employees.
