We are seeking a skilled Controls Engineer to lead the design programming and integration of automated equipment for highvolume manufacturing. This is a handson engineering role ideal for someone with strong analytical skills PLC programming expertise and a passion for automation. You ll work crossfunctionally to bring control systems from concept to production ensuring seamless integration into the manufacturing environment.
Design program and implement PLC and HMI control systems for new manufacturing equipment.
Lead the controls portion of equipment development from concept through deployment (including PO release FAT SAT and rampup).
Define control system architecture safety integration and redundancy plans.
Collaborate with crossfunctional teams including mechanical electrical and industrial engineering.
Conduct controlsrelated risk assessments (e.g. PFMEA) and develop validation and commissioning plans.
Troubleshoot and optimize control systems for performance safety and reliability.
Develop and maintain detailed documentation including electrical schematics ladder logic functional descriptions and timing charts.
Support installation commissioning and facility integration of new equipment.
Bachelor s degree in Electrical Controls Mechatronics or related Engineering field.
3 4 years of handson experience in controls engineering or industrial automation.
Strong experience with PLC programming (Allen Bradley Siemens Beckhoff preferred).
Proficient in HMI/SCADA design and implementation.
Working knowledge of safety systems including LOTO machine guarding and light curtains.
CAD and electrical schematic design experience (EPLAN AutoCAD Electrical or similar).
Familiarity with MES and database systems; Python and MySQL experience is a plus.
Willingness to travel domestically and internationally for equipment integration and support.
