We are looking for a Recruiter to support our corporate office.
Location: Remote. Although this is a remote position candidate must live within commuting distance to Fredericksburg VA for occasional in person meetings and potential return to office.
This is a parttime position 20 hours per week).
Pay $14per hour plus profit sharing
College students or candidates with a desire to work in human resources or recruiting encouraged to apply.
If you are someone who is trying to get started in the human resource/ recruiting field we want you to join our team! We are looking for a Recruiter to support our recruiting and onboarding activities. Recruiter responsibilities include scheduling calls and interviews maintaining candidate database and handling data input. Ultimately you ll help us hire efficiently and keep our hiring process running. If you have some experience in recruiting and you re an excellent organizer and communicator we d like to meet you.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate hiring activities
- Undertake clerical duties (e.g. answering emails and client and candidate calls)
- Prepare and post job ads online
- Resume screening and initial phone screenings
- Source for candidates via online databases such as Indeed and LInkedin.
- Maintain candidate database
- Handle records and paperwork
- Resolve issues as fast as possible (e.g. interview cancellations)
- Assist with new hire onboarding (e.g. preparing documents coordinating orientation agendas)
- Social Media postings and recruiting
- Other duties as assigned
Skills
- 13 years of experience in recruiting preferred
- Experience as Recruiter or other recruitingrelated role preferred
- Familiarity with hiring practices and stages (screening interview assessment onboarding)
- Experience using recruiting software and social networks for recruiting
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Great attention to detail
- Outstanding communication skills
- Problemsolving ability
- Bachelors degree preferred
- Please note that this position is entrylevel. While experience is desired it is not required.
