Job Description
Spear Education is seeking a creative and detailoriented Junior UI/UX Designer to help shape the user experience across our digital ecosystem. As a key member of our design team youll collaborate with product owners and developers to create intuitive visually compelling interfaces for various devices and platforms. Youll focus on designing experiences that enhance user engagement simplify workflows and solve realworld problems for our customers. Job Duties
- Design and prototype userfriendly interfaces using Figma ensuring responsiveness and scalability across devices.
- Leverage and contribute to Spears design system to maintain consistency and streamline development.
- Collaborate with Product and Development teams to refine prototypes and deliver productionready assets.
- Create wireframes storyboards and user flows to effectively communicate design ideas.
- Conduct user research and testing to understand customer pain points and use insights to inform design decisions.
- Analyze customer data and behavior to recommend strategies that reduce friction and boost engagement.
- Stay current with design trends and best practices to identify opportunities for innovation and improvement.
- Support the creation of scalable componentbased UI elements for use across our platform.
- Ensure accessibility compliance and usability standards are met in all designs.
Qualifications :
- 35 years of experience in UI/UX design or a related field.
- Proficiency in Figma for both design and prototyping.
- Understanding of responsive design principles and their application to various devices and platforms.
- Familiarity with design systems and componentbased UI frameworks.
- Basic knowledge of user research methods including usability testing and data analysis.
- Strong visual design skills with a keen eye for detail and consistency.
- Ability to collaborate across teams and effectively communicate design ideas.
- Selfmotivated and eager to learn in a fastpaced teamoriented environment.
- Bachelors degree in Design HumanComputer Interaction or a related field (preferred but not required).
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working on SaaS or educationfocused digital products.
- Familiarity with accessibility standards (WCAG) and inclusive design principles.
- Exposure to tools like Maze Clarity or other analytics and user research platforms.
Candidates under consideration will be required to submit a professional UI design portfoliofor review
Additional Information :
The general salary target range for this position in Arizona is $85000 $105000 per year. However the base salary offered may increase (or decrease) based on various factors including but not limited to relevant skills experience and location. In addition to base salary Spear offers a full range of perks and benefits highlighted below.
