You will be updated with latest job alerts via emailThe Communications Specialist will be responsible for managing external communication channels and creating informative educational promotional and engaging content.
Tasks & Responsibilities:
1. Determine communications campaigns to raise awareness of Safely Connected Services;
2. Review style guides and brand voice outlines for all public relations marketing advertising outreach and written content;
3. Create and update graphic promotional and inclusive educational content to share on Safely Connecteds external communications;
4. Create or collaborate to develop artistic content on eating disorders;
5. Collect data on engagement with communications content;
6. Research Safely Connecteds current and potential audience to understand behaviours trends and other factors that could affect engagement;
7. Connect and network with similarly minded organizations and individuals doing social media activism on eating disorders; and
8. Collaborate with partners of Safely Connected to create inclusive intersectional content around eating disorders centering the voices of Indigenous Peoples Black and other racialized people people with disabilities and TwoSpirit and people from gender and sexually diverse communities.
