Job Description
The Job Mission
This is a pivotal role in the heart of the UKs leading nuclear newbuild programme.
Youll lead the operational delivery of a projectwide initiative to accelerate decisionmaking.
Your mission is to coordinate crossfunctional stakeholders and ensure timely delivery of technical decisions.
Your future teams mission will include:
- Leading weekly drumbeat meetings to identify prioritise and track critical design decisions
- Driving the Lead Time Challenge initiative across engineering teams and delivery partners
- Engaging with delivery leads to unblock issues identify risks and escalate where needed
- Preparing detailed reports on progress delays and KPIs for multiple governance levels
- Coordinating performance reporting across contracts engineering steps and supplier interfaces
- Ensuring consistent and transparent communication with internal and external stakeholders
- Managing a shared admin resource responsible for dashboards and performance data
- Representing operational delivery performance in monthly and quarterly steering committees
Qualifications :
Essential Skills and Qualifications
- Degreequalified in Nuclear Mechanical Civil or Electrical Engineering
- Minimum 3 years engineering discipline experience
- Strong understanding of UK nuclear design and processes
- Skilled in project and delivery management
- Effective communicator with excellent stakeholder engagement skills
- Organised analytical and detailfocused
- Able to drive high standards of safety and quality
Desired Skills and Qualifications
- Understanding of project management principles
- Experience in crossfunctional technical coordination
- Proficiency in performance reporting tools
- Collaborative mindset with multicultural project experience
