Job Description

The Job Mission

This is a pivotal role in the heart of the UKs leading nuclear newbuild programme.

Youll lead the operational delivery of a projectwide initiative to accelerate decisionmaking.

Your mission is to coordinate crossfunctional stakeholders and ensure timely delivery of technical decisions.

Your future teams mission will include:

  • Leading weekly drumbeat meetings to identify prioritise and track critical design decisions
  • Driving the Lead Time Challenge initiative across engineering teams and delivery partners
  • Engaging with delivery leads to unblock issues identify risks and escalate where needed
  • Preparing detailed reports on progress delays and KPIs for multiple governance levels
  • Coordinating performance reporting across contracts engineering steps and supplier interfaces
  • Ensuring consistent and transparent communication with internal and external stakeholders
  • Managing a shared admin resource responsible for dashboards and performance data
  • Representing operational delivery performance in monthly and quarterly steering committees

 


Qualifications :

Essential Skills and Qualifications

  • Degreequalified in Nuclear Mechanical Civil or Electrical Engineering
  • Minimum 3 years engineering discipline experience
  • Strong understanding of UK nuclear design and processes
  • Skilled in project and delivery management
  • Effective communicator with excellent stakeholder engagement skills
  • Organised analytical and detailfocused
  • Able to drive high standards of safety and quality

Desired Skills and Qualifications

  • Understanding of project management principles
  • Experience in crossfunctional technical coordination
  • Proficiency in performance reporting tools
  • Collaborative mindset with multicultural project experience
