Job Description
The Catering Bartenders are responsible for proper table/bar setup table service for guests and knowledge of menu/drinks to be served. This person will apply all safe food/alcohol handling principles as they pertain to this position. This person will work with management and coworkers to instill and foster the value of the Villanova Mission Statement and the Dining Services Mission Statement. This person will focus on our Core Values: Cleanliness and Sanitation Friendly Courteous Service Quality Meticulous Attention to Detail and Safety. All of our associates should improve our systems and overall operation.
Duties And Responsibilities
Setup of dining room/bars for service. Taking customers orders and filling the order in a friendly and professional manner. Maintain a clean and neat work and service area. Performs clean up and breaking down of bars at end of event. Perform additional duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications
High School diploma or equivalent. Bartending skills and practices. Oral and written communication skills. Ability to work independently as well as in a group under general supervision. Excellent customer service skills.
Preferred Qualifications
Previous catering serving or bartending experience. Ramp certification preferred.
