What You Will Do
The Operations Banking Rep is responsible for ensuring banking services are delivered in an efficient and costeffective manner providing a high level of service to both our internal and external clients.
This role is responsible for processing incoming and outgoing funds including margin call collateral cash requirement Type 4 and netting requirements and new issue closing deals.
It is primarily focused on the General Ledger duties of banking department including bank and control account reconciliations audit inquiries deposits and electronic payments.
This individual may be required to provide input to or participate in various projects and will perform other duties as requested.
What Were Looking For:
Minimum of 1 year relevant experience in the financial services industry preferably in banking role
Bloomberg knowledge is an asset
3year postsecondary education completed preferably in Finance Accounting or Economics
CTP (Certified Treasury Professional) accounting designation or equivalent is considered an asset
The Expertise You Bring:
Strong knowledge of economic markets
Ability to work with tight deadlines and a sense of urgency in a fastpaced environment
Ability to work with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail
Ability to work well within a team and independently
Good verbal and written communication skills and ability to communicate well with internal departments vendors and clients
