The Opportunity
We have an outstanding opportunity for a Maintenance Manager to join our Fibre Packaging team at Yatala. Reporting to the Operations Manager you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of maintenancemechanical electrical and preventativeacross a highvolume stateoftheart corrugating and converting facility.
Youll lead a team of supervisors and planners working closely with operations production and national engineering to drive performance reduce downtime and maintain a strong safety culture.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the maintenance team to deliver safe reliable plant performance and adherence to OHSE standards.
- Drive preventative maintenance planning in line with operational schedules.
- Ensure compliance with Visys Safety Systems and statutory maintenance inspections.
- Collaborate with production to optimise machine reliability and reduce waste.
- Oversee budget planning and control for repairs maintenance and capital purchases.
- Monitor inventory of spare parts and manage contractor and supplier relationships.
- Champion 5S and continuous improvement practices across the site.
- Support and develop the team through structured performance training and workforce planning.
What You Will Bring to the Team
- Proven leadership in maintenance or engineering management ideally in FMCG or industrial manufacturing.
- Strong technical knowledge across mechanical and electrical systems.
- Demonstrated experience driving safety compliance and process reliability.
- Ability to manage budgets plan resources and lead RCA and improvement initiatives.
- Effective communicator and stakeholder managerboth internally and externally.
- Engineering trade or tertiary qualifications are essential.
