Job Description

Job Title: Sales Manager

As a family-owned and operated business with a reputation built on trust and integrity were looking for a driven experienced and enthusiastic Sales Manager to lead and grow our dynamic sales team.

Position Overview:
The Sales Manager is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the dealerships sales department. This includes managing the sales team setting goals training staff developing sales strategies and ensuring exceptional customer satisfaction. The ideal candidate will be a proactive leader with a proven track record in automotive sales management and a passion for developing people and delivering results.

Key Responsibilities:
Lead and manage the sales team to meet and exceed monthly goals for units sold gross profit and customer satisfaction.

Recruit train motivate and coach sales staff to perform at their highest level.

Monitor and manage inventory pricing and merchandising in collaboration with other departments.

Develop and implement sales strategies to improve performance and drive revenue growth.

Track sales metrics and provide regular performance reports to upper management.

Ensure an outstanding customer experience throughout the entire sales process.

Handle escalated customer issues with professionalism and urgency.

Maintain compliance with all local state and federal regulations related to automotive sales.

Foster a positive and productive work environment aligned with Vaughn Automotive Groups values.

Qualifications:
3 years of experience in automotive sales with at least 12 years in a sales management or leadership role.

Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets.

Strong leadership coaching and team-building skills.

Excellent communication negotiation and customer service abilities.

High level of integrity and professionalism.

Proficiency in CRM systems dealership management software (e.g. Reynolds & Reynolds DealerSocket) and Microsoft Office Suite.

Valid drivers license and clean driving record.

Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with multiple brands and pre-owned vehicle sales.

Familiarity with digital retailing tools and online sales platforms.

Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus.
