Job Description & Summary

Deals Strategy & Value Realization (DSVR) provides strategic and operational advice across the deal continuum from setting the deal strategy to postdeal . Examples of services we undertake include advising funds on developing the right strategy identifying issues and points of negotiation and value executing the deal seamlessly and implementing changes to deliver synergies and improvements post integration. Our team includes a diverse mix of profiles with people with relevant strategy investment and operations experience combined with deep industry expertise. Our clients include regional and international corporates leading private equity houses family offices major banks and investment funds and government entities.

Role Responsibilities

As a Senior Manager in the Industrials Manufacturing and Automotive sector youll work as part of a team of problem solvers helping to solve complex business issues from strategy to . Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Oversee the successful delivery of projects which may include multiple projects at a time while leading a team of 34 consultants

  • Managing the client relationship on a daytoday basis including other stakeholders

  • Structuring and ensuring the development of reports encompassing the relevant analysis findings and recommendations

  • Supporting on business development efforts across key geographies in the GCC and within various sectors

  • Taking an active role in new business development and pursuit activities including client lead maturation proposal development and closing new business opportunities

  • Identifying and addressing client needs: building maintaining and utilizing networks of client relationships

  • Developing highimpact work plans: prioritizing issues that drive the answer developing creative ways to prove or disprove hypotheses estimating time and resourcing required for work modules

  • Managing project workstreams and developing proposals deliverables and reports using the Microsoft suite of applications such as Excel Word PowerPoint

Requirements

  • 7 years of relevant work experience including demonstrated career progression to a Senior Managerequivalent levelin a strategy consulting firm or corporate strategy roles

  • Sector experience with a focus on industrial manufacturing automotive and/or construction sectors preferably within the Middle East

  • Proven track record of success in developing corporate portfolio strategies and delivering commercial due diligence projects

  • Hands on experience with assisting clients in strategic planning and business reviews; growth market entry and international expansion; and market opportunity sizing

  • Experience with deals M&A and Joint Ventures strong understanding of mergers integrations spinoffs and/or divestiture transactions including options analyses and recommendations

  • Ability to develop and execute programs on production localisation attracting FDI and developing outward direct investment programs

  • Rigorous analytical skills ability to excel at solving problems that require sound logical reasoning creative thinking fluency with numbers and ability to untangle complex issues

  • Highly motivated energetic enthusiastic committed and inclusive team player

  • Ability to exercise business judgement communicate persuasively and generate insights to build trusting client relationships

  • Ability to project poise confidence and professional maturity in both internal and external situations; engaging and concise with good interpersonal presence comfortable both in the Csuite and team room settings

  • Flexibility and ability to serve and address a wide range of client assignments; ability to meet tight deadlines

  • Confident to manage multiresource engagements: using work plans to manage daytoday removing roadblocks proactively asking for help effectively communicating up down and laterally

  • Articulate and compelling verbal written and presentation skills are vital

  • Entrepreneurial proactive pragmatic someone who rolls up the sleeves and gets things done

  • Arabic speaking considered a big plus

  • Flexibility to travel 2040 of the time
