FP&A and Revenue Operations Senior Analyst

Xplor is seeking a FP&A and Revenue Operations Senior Analyst to support Xplor Payments. Reporting to the VP of FP&A for Payments this role will provide critical finance support to this high priority division. As a valued business partner you will immerse yourself in the business and develop strong relationships with the commercial team working closely with them to guide decision making.

You will enjoy working with large datasets analyzing and transforming these into clear business insights. This role has strong opportunities for visibility with senior management.

This position will be based in the United States.  We have locations in Louisville KY West Palm Beach FL and Atlanta GA. Remote candidates are also welcome. 

Responsibilities / What you will do:

Commercial Business Partnering

• Support cross-functional collaboration with Sales Customer Success Product and Marketing teams to optimize revenue operations
• Create simple but powerful business intelligence enabling the commercial team to manage performance effectively
• Be the primary point of contact for finance requests from the business
• Analyze complex datasets to draw meaningful conclusions providing clear messages to senior management
• Evaluate new deal proposals for profitability
• Act as a key advisor on financial matters partnering with commercial leaders to deliver high quality financial advice
• Provide key revenue and expense insights that assist with driving profitability

Budgeting & Forecasting

• Own and run complex financial forecast models
• Deliver timely and accurate budgets rolling forecasts and multi-year projections in line with company requirements
• Critically assess historical trends in conjunction with future objectives to create reliable model inputs
• Collaborate with the business to create a strategic financial plan that meets company targets
• Identify opportunities create value and challenge the business where appropriate to drive better results

Reporting / KPIs

• Produce comprehensive monthly and quarterly management reporting including financial commercial and operational KPIs that help explain performance of the Payments business
• Review KPIs on a regular basis proposing enhancements and additions that will create better business focus

The average base salary pay range for this position is $80000 to $120000

In this position you can work from home 100% in the following locations: any state in the lower 48 of the US

Qualifications :

• 5 years of experience in previous financial analysis roles that includes exposure and success with financial modelling
• Advanced Excel and financial modelling skills
• Experience using and building dashboards with Business Intelligence tools (Power BI and Salesforce experience is preferred)
• Analytical approach to problem solving and dealing with complex issues
• Demonstrated commercial acumen
• Ability to work in an environment that presents constant change and some ambiguity 
• Demonstrated experience partnering and influencing business partners and leaders
• Experience presenting complex financial models and topics in a manner that is clear and concise resulting in quick business decisions and action items
• Ability to build and nurture productive working relationships with individuals and teams regionally and globally
