The Head Womens Basketball Coach is responsible for overseeing all aspects of the universitys womens basketball program ensuring a commitment to excellence in athletics academics and character development. This position will manage daytoday operations recruit and mentor studentathletes and uphold the integrity of the program in alignment with the universitys mission and NCAA Division II guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Recruit and retain talented studentathletes who exemplify high character and academic dedication.
• Manage the program budget responsibly in accordance with university and athletic department policies.
• Schedule and coordinate practices competitions and offseason training.
• Oversee all aspects of team travel and gameday operations.
• Ensure proper care and maintenance of basketball facilities and equipment.
• Develop and implement strength and conditioning programs in coordination with athletic performance staff.
• Monitor and support studentathletes academic progress toward degree completion in partnership with the compliance and academic support offices.
• Supervise train and evaluate assistant coaches and support staff.
• Maintain a positive and professional environment that promotes teamwork accountability and leadership development.
• Adhere to all university conference and NCAA rules and regulations.
• Demonstrate consistent punctual attendance and maintain a visible presence within the athletics department.

Education

• Bachelors degree required; Masters degree preferred.
• Minimum of 23 years of experience as a collegiate womens basketball coach; prior head coaching experience strongly preferred.
• Must be able to lift 15 pounds.
