Stefanini is looking for IT Support Specialist in Rancho Cucamonga CA
Work Hours: MF 40 hours)
Work Location: Rancho Cucamonga CA
Shift: 1st Shift
The Level 2 IT Technician provides technical support troubleshooting and maintenance for IT systems. This role requires proficiency in IT operating systems strong communication skills and the ability to diagnose and resolve issues effectively. The technician is detailoriented adaptable and customerfocused ensuring smooth operations and optimal performance of technology infrastructure.
Details:
- High school diploma or GED from an accredited institution.
- Knowledge and experience in troubleshooting and supporting hardware software and networkrelated issues.
- Familiarity with system installation configuration and maintenance of computer systems software applications and peripherals.
- Proficiency in diagnosing and resolving issues related to desktops laptops printers mobile devices and other IT equipment.
- Experience in performing system upgrades patches and updates.
- Basic knowledge of IT security best practices and the ability to assist in the administration and maintenance of security systems.
- Ability to provide user support in accessing and utilizing various software applications and tools.
- accurately.
- Knowledgeable about IT inventory management and maintaining organized hardware and software inventory.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Relevant certifications such as CompTIA A Network or Microsoft Certified Professional (MCP).
- Previous experience in a technical support role or similar IT position.
- Strong knowledge of computer hardware software and network troubleshooting.
- Basic understanding of networking concepts and protocols.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks effectively.
Skills & Competencies: Tools and network topologies.
- Possesses strong interpersonal skills to effectively interact and communicate with individuals at various levels within the organization.
- Demonstrates excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to convey technical information clearly and concisely.
- Exhibits strong analytical and problemsolving skills to diagnose and resolve ITrelated issues efficiently.
- Detailoriented with a focus on accuracy and precision in work tasks.
- Emerging technologies and industry trends.
- Works well both independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
- Displays a customerfocused mindset and is committed to delivering highquality IT support and solutions.
Work Environment:
- This position works primarily at a desk. It may require occasional travel within Howmet Aerospaces global manufacturing facilities. This role will be required to work offhours as needed.
