About our Team:
The HBM Design Development Team leads are dedicated to ensuring highquality ontime tapeouts of HBM designs while driving continuous improvements to our processes. We collaborate closely with a wide crossfunctional team including Architecture frontend design Physical design Verification CAD and several postsilicon groups to ensure a high quality product the first time on time every time!
About the role:
Micron is seeking individuals to work on powerful HBM designs!
As a Principal Design Program Manager you will lead all aspects of the design development of HBM products ensuring that design targets like schedule performance power quality and cost are strictly met. You will lead a crossfunctional Design Development Team (DDT) through the product lifecycle manage risks apply and contribute to lessons learned and manage change control. This role includes active participation in StageGate reviews and regular reporting to leadership.
Develop HBM products (DramLogic Interface die) from the planning stage through tapeout and as a partner in the Product development team (PDT).
Achieve design targets (schedule quality manufacturing readiness and budget) and direct the Design Development Team (DDT).
Actively participate in StageGate (SG) reviews of the Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) process.
Regularly report program status to leadership and coordinate report outs at work reviews and program reviews.
BSEE or MSEE with 10 years of experience in a relevant field.
7 years of professional custom and digital design flows within the semiconductor industry.
Ability to drive product planning roadmap definition and resource planning.
Familiarity with the full cycle of SoC development from architectural spec development to frontend and backend design verification and postsilicon bringup.
7 years of experience working with IP providers and SoC and DRAM ecosystem partners.
10 years of proven ability managing change requests and risks and driving/tracking required actions to manage project schedules.
10 years of proficient with project management tools like ProChain and Microsoft Project.
Supervise the project plan throughout its lifecycle ensuring timely and followup actions.
Facilitate lessonslearned workshops to share knowledge and standard methodologies across products.
7 years of coordinating regular crossfunctional team meetings to track progress and provide updates.
The US base salary range that Micron Technology estimates it could pay for this fulltime position is:
$152500.00 $280000.00Our salary ranges are determined by role level and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries of the position across all US locations. Within the range individual pay is determined by work location and additional jobrelated factors including knowledge skills experience tenure and relevant education or training. The pay scale is subject to change depending on business needs. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range for your preferred location during the hiring process. Additional compensation may include benefits discretionary bonuses and equity.
