Min. Qualifications:
6 or more years of proven experience as a Technical Writer and leading a team of technical writers especially for a Software Product.
Should have worked on creating product taxonomy and also on structuring content within a full-fledged Technical Product guide
Worked with Content Management Systems (e.g. Document360 Adobe FrameMaker) and open-source authoring tools (Markdown and HTML experience preferred).
Utilized tools such as Microsoft Office (Word Excel PowerPoint) and Microsoft Outlook with proficiency.
Experience in writing technical documentation including overviews how-to guides user guides (API) documentation and reference.
Acquire in-depth knowledge of the companys products from both technical and business perspectives.
Conducted thorough reviews of technical documents and guided teams for continuous improvement.
Job Expectations:
Should be able to Drive the entire document creation lifecycle to plan write format edit review proofread and publish procedural and technical content for technical and non-technical users.
Develop and maintain product-related documentation including user guides how-to guides release notes and more while adhering to project guidelines stakeholder direction and release schedule timelines. Additionally create FAQs troubleshooting guides and support articles to assist users in addressing common questions and resolving issues effectively.
Demonstrate excellent writing skills to produce clear concise and user-friendly documentation for both technical and non-technical audiences with strong attention to detail.
Ensure proficiency in English and adhere to technical writing standards such as MSTP (Microsoft Manual of Style for Technical Publications).
Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and gather insights from subject matter experts to develop organize and write procedure manuals technical specifications and process documentation.
Constructively incorporate feedback into documentation improvements.
Work in cadence with the Agile teams for product details pertinent for feature content creation.
Simplify complex technical concepts into clear understandable content employing creative strategies to make information engaging.
Manage multiple projects simultaneously meeting tight deadlines with strong organizational and time-management skills.
Become an expert on our products from both a technical and business standpoint.
Act as a team player with a collaborative mindset contributing positively to group efforts.
