Five years of social services experience; OR
Six years of fulltime experience in any field plus two years of social services experience; OR
A bachelors degree plus two years of social services experience; OR
An advanced degree in a social sciences field plus one year of social services experience.
EXPERIENCE SUBSTITUTION:
Every 30 semester hours earned from an accredited college or university will be credited as one year of experience towards the six years of fulltime work experience in any field. The maximum substitution allowed is 120 semester hours which substitutes for a maximum of four years of experience in any field.
NECESSARY SPECIAL REQUIREMENT:
Positions that provide addictive disorder counseling or prevention services will require certification or eligibility for certification issued by the Addictive Disorder Regulatory Authority (ADRA) or its successor.

90 Complete initial screenings for program participants for eligibility of MOUD services.
Complete Government Performance and Results Act (GPRA) on new clients received Medications for Opioid Use Disorder (MOUD)
Make appropriate recommendations and referrals based on needed level of care.
Act as an advocate to coordinate services to resolve emergency situations.
Assist clients with development of community supports.
Represent the agency at health fairs festivals and other public gatherings when requested.
Provide education on mental illness and addictive disorders for clients and their families.
Participate in program recruitment and referrals.
Address program compliance issues with participants when necessary.
Provide crisis intervention services.
Utilization of SBIRT Model (Screening Brief Intervention and Referral to Treatment).
Plan and coordinate the monitoring and reporting process ensuring all required data and reports are submitted appropriately.
Document all services referred and provided.
Monitor and track contingency management (what does this entail)
Complete virtual or inperson SBIRT Training.
Facilitates new clients through the orientation process by providing information on clinic policies and the process of treatment. Assist clients in completing initial paperwork necessary for evaluation.
Conducts case management activities by assisting the licensed clinicians with the assessment process.
Interviews clients to assess the need for referrals to outside agencies and completes referrals to the proper sources when necessary.
Assist in linking clients to community resources.
Assists staff with the completion of consumer care requests.
Obtain information and records on clients regarding previous behavioral health treatment.
Provides emergency services to clients needing crisis intervention for self or family. Consults with appropriate staff complete necessary forms secure placement and transportation for clients needing hospitalization.
Participates in case staffing and helps determine recommendations for client placement.
Documents written reports to courts probation officers employees schools and case workers in regards to clients treatment recommendations.
10 Attends meetings workshops trainings and seminars for continuing education purposes and professional enhancement and development.
Performs any additional duties requested which are not listed in job description but relate to services provided by the clinic.
