Duties and responsibilities:
Recruit Intrabas and Thuthuka programme participants and verify that their data is correctly captured in prescribed templates.
Compile list of students who applied to participate in the Intrabas and Thuthuka programmes and shortlist those to be selected.
Liaise with shortlisted learners and then selected learners including collecting all the required documentation.
Coordinate the administration of the interventions on the Intrabas and Thuthuka support programmes.
Arrange and monitor tutorials bootcamps small groups and consultations for Intrabas and Thuthuka programme participants.
Resolve student queries.
Consolidate student performance and engagement data captured by the Academic Trainees (ATs) to serve as a basis for remedial action and report this to the Project Manager.
Arrange and monitor soft skill development sessions and field trips for Intrabas and Thuthuka programme participants.
Provide a first line of support to Intrabas and Thuthuka Programme participants with motivation time management scheduling and study techniques.
Support the Intrabas and Thuthuka Project Manager in organising small group meetings.
Train and monitor SAIPA Academic Trainees (AT) in Excel and the learning tracking timesheet and other Intrabas processes.
Review and process AT timesheets weekly.
Report on AT performance to the Project Manager.
Assist the Project Manager with the organisation of Thuthuka and Intrabas Functions.
Book venues for academic interventions and functions.
Assist the Project Manager with the financial administration of the Thuthuka and Intrabas programmes.
Perform any other reasonable task assigned by the line manager.
Inherent requirements:
Bachelors degree or an advanced diploma/BTech degree/postgraduate certificate on NQF Level 7 in Accountancy or related field.
Minimum of two 2 years relevant working experience relating to the duties and responsibilities in the Higher Education Environment.
Recommendations:
Honours degree/postgraduate diploma/professional bachelors degree on NQF Level 8.
Good academic record.
Experience in the administration of student support interventions.
Experience within the highereducation environment.
Knowledge of university systems policies procedures.

Salary:
The annual remuneration package including benefits is R 447 323.31 R 562 750.48 per annum depending on the budget available for the position relevant work experience and qualifications.
