Job Description

Job Title: Supervisor HR Acquisitions & Integrations Onsite

Summary

Surgery Partners is actively growing through nationwide acquisitions integrations and new construction of ambulatory surgery centers and hospitals. The Supervisor HR Acquisitions & Integrations supports facilities during the planning and setup time period before transitioning the facility to be supported by the broader HR department. The Supervisor is a member of the HR Acquisition Integration and DeNovos team who is responsible for executing the people integration needed for the setup of newly acquired facilities. This role is successful through proactive timely and effective communication creative and flexible problemsolving and successfully navigating through ambiguity and shifting dynamics.

Essential Functions & Responsibilities

  • Provide leadership and oversight for the HR due diligence and denovo team members
  • Collaborate with HR functional leaders to ensure streamlined processes and timely responses to requests
  • Escalate any concerns to leadership as needed
  • Manage overall timelines for each acquisition and divestiture
  • Report status update to fellow corporate departments
  • Update integration and divestiture documents as needed
  • Partner with operation leaders to ensure understanding of nuances and any known risks
  • Liaison with the benefits team to ensure a smooth employee transition
  • Liaison between Finance HRIS and the payroll team to obtain GL codes to ensure proper alignment

Integrations:

  • Develop and execute integration plans to ensure a smooth transition of employees systems and processes.
  • Lead integration meetings with new Co. leaders while leveraging the HR crossfunctional team members knowledge to provide overview and guidance regarding the integration processes of each are to include Benefits HRIS Talent Acquisition Payroll IT and HR Business Partner.
  • Serves as the Subject Matter Expert for all acquisition and onboarding efforts
  • Leveraging their project management skills to ensure internal and external partners complete integration and divestiture processes in the most effective and efficiency fashion.
  • Provides frequent and timely updates through recurring meetings to key stakeholders on the status of upcoming integrations with focus on deadlines and processes

    Divestitures:

    • Partners with the Development team regarding identified divestiture to transition ownership/ management
    • Leads and collaborates with crossfunctional HR team to ensure divestiture is seamless for the employee population
    • Collaborates with HRBPs on key decisions and next steps

    Interdepartmental collaboration to ensure successful transition

    • Works closely with Leader and fellow team members to support upcoming acquisitions and understand the timing and complexities of facility transitions
    • Establishes a relationship with incoming facility Administrators
    • Creates PowerPoint presentations for biweekly HR integration meetings with facility leaders
    • Schedules facility calls with HR team/Administrators during HR integration process
    • In partnership with the Benefits team coordinates open enrollment materials and communication to facilities
    • Collaborates with the HRIS Implementation Consultant to ensure that the appropriate time management devices are set up as needed (web punch with geofence or physical clock)
    • Leads onboarding and training for new facility Administrators and other leadership positions ensuring the Talent Acquisition team
    • Identifies and documents key differences between current and future employment policies considering Benefits Employee Handbook PTO and informs the HRBP.

    Job Skills & QualificationsRequired:

    • 5 years of experience in Human Resources with a focus on project management M&A or organizational development is required
    • Experience in the Healthcare industry is strongly preferred.
    • Bachelors degree in Business Human Resources or a related field preferred. Equivalent experience in lieu of education will be considered.
    • Strong written verbal and public speaking communication skills.
    • Accurate and timely data entry and tracking. This role requires a high level of proactive data management and utilizing multiple sources and systems.
    • Proactively communicates ensuring a task is complete and that the topic is thoroughly understood by key stakeholders prior to considering the task to be resolved.
    • Leadership and team management experience to guide HR teams through integration is preferred
    • Experience in project management and the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously is required
    • Advanced customer service with experience collecting organizing and disseminating abundant information accurately.
    • Ability to effectively manage competing priorities and comfortable working in an environment with ambiguity
    • Proficiency in change management methodologies.
    • Understanding of labor laws employment regulations and compliance requirements.
    • Excellent communication (oral/written) and strong interpersonal and collaboration skills is a must
    • Strong analytical and problemsolving abilities.
    • Ability to negotiate and collaborate with external partners.
    • Strategic Thinking: Strategic mindset to align HR strategies with business goals.
    • Fully proficient in MS Office products
    • Strong knowledge of HRIS Systems (preferably UltiPro/UKG)
