Are you passionate about crafting the perfect cup of coffee and providing exceptional service Lead our dynamic team as a Head Barista and take your love for coffee to the next level!

  • FullTime position (Monday Friday)
  • Be a part of a fun team and lead the barista function!

We are looking for a superstar Head Barista to work at our busy FreshPlus caf in Lyle McEwin Hospital in Adelaide!

We are looking for an energetic flexible and personable barista with proven experience in a similar role to join our team.

Fresh currently operate a large number of hospital cafs across NSW QLD and SA providing food beverages and convenience retail to hospital staff and the general public.

About the Role

As Head Barista you will play an integral role in providing exceptional and efficient customer service to our patrons and regulars alongside a passion for all things coffee!

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Train new baristas in proper coffee preparation techniques customer service and store policies.
  • Assign tasks manage workflow and ensure the team provides excellent customer service during peak hours.
  • Maintain a clean and welcoming environment for guests ensuring the caf is always inviting.
  • Foster a customerfocused culture by encouraging staff to deliver highquality service.
  • Handle cash registers and ensure accurate transactions.

The Ideal Candidate

The ideal candidate for this role will have a passion for coffee and is friendly & approachable. You will display the following qualities:

  • Ability to work well under pressure
  • 3 years of experience in a caf or hospitality environment as a barista preferred.
  • Excellent communication and a team player.
  • Understanding of operating and adjusting a coffee machine/grinder as required.
  • Knowledge around food handling and safety.
  • Great customer service skills and passion for coffee!
