Product Overview
TIBCOs Core Platform group lays the foundation of the TIBCO Platform group provides processes and technology required to effectively deliver run and manage TIBCO products in/from the Cloud or on hosted environments.
This position is a truly awesome opportunity to work in a group of highly motivated and skilled team members. You will be exposed to the very latest cutting edge cloud technologies (e.g. Kubernetes Docker Helm NodeJS Angular etc) and Cloud providers such as AWS and Azure.
Role Overview
Senior Application Development Engineer (Full Stack) helps in designing and implementing TIBCO Core Platforms Control Plane and TIBCO Developer Experience.
Responsibilities
An ideal candidate is expected to:
Own drive and evolve components of the TIBCO Core Platform Control Plane Web UI and Developer Experience UI and infrastructure stack
Be able to track requirements design prototype and recommend new technologies
Work closely with the Lead engineers and product management to ensure timely delivery with right priority
Work with a geographically distributed team of developers and test engineers
Have excellent debugging skills and have a proven track record of debugging distributed systems
Have previous exposure to Agile way of developing software
Have excellent verbal and written communication skills
Qualifications
Computer Science/Engineering degree (BE/BTech ME/MTech) or equivalent from a reputed Engineering Institute.
5 to 7 years of relevant handson industry experience
Working knowledge of UNIX is essential
Handson in one or more languages: TypeScriptJavascript NodeJS Angular React HTML5 CSS Shellscripting SQL
Previous experience with Docker and/or Kubernetes will be extremely helpful
Working knowledge of Git / Github or any modern version control system
Designing and developing REST microservices and best practices for REST design
Previous experience designing SinglePageApplications (SPAs) and popular UI frameworks such as etc. and backend frameworks like Koa Express etc will be helpful but not essential
Any experience working with and/or extending Backstage will be a plus
