As a Senior Lead Software Engineer at JPMorgan Chase within the Corporate Technology Employee Platforms you are an integral part of an agile team that works to enhance build and deliver trusted marketleading technology products in a secure stable and scalable way. Job responsibilities
- Regularly provides technical guidance and direction to support the business and its technical teams contractors and vendors
- Develops secure and highquality production code and reviews and debugs code written by others
- Drives decisions that influence the product design application functionality and technical operations and processes
- Serves as a functionwide subject matter expert in one or more areas of focus
- Actively contributes to the engineering community as an advocate of firmwide frameworks tools and practices of the Software Development Life Cycle
- Influences peers and project decisionmakers to consider the use and application of leadingedge technologies
- Adds to the team culture of diversity equity inclusion and respect
- Architects designs develops and manages scalable and secure cloud applications on (AWS) as well as private cloud (OnPrem)
- Utilize AWS serverless and containers API Gateway Data Pipeline Glue EC2 Parallel Cluster Auto Scaling AWS Batch Containers/Container Orchestrators and Databases (RDS NoSQL Caching)
- Recommend technical architecture solution and influence stakeholders
- Works across the full development stack (UI Middleware and database) to ensure seamless integration across all layers of the application
Required qualifications capabilities and skills
- Formal training or certification onsoftware engineeringconcepts and 5 years applied experience
- Handson practical experience delivering system design application development testing and operational stability
- Ability to tackle design and functionality problems independently with little to no oversight
- Experience in Computer Science Computer Engineering Mathematics or a related technical field
- Strong expertise in React for frontend development and (Oracle/Postgres & NoSQL) for database management
- Strong experience in Java (Java 8 Spring framework and Databases (RDS NoSql Caching)
- Experience in implementing AWS services using Terraform
- Hands on Experience in Full stack development 10 plus years)
- Experience leading technical teams in providing technical direction across product teams
- Hands on experience with (RESTful API) design and development
- Integration experience leveralging differing patterns of (Realtime Near RealTime and Batch)
- Experience in building large scale product systems in a very large financial company
- Certification in AWS
- Experience in Oracle Human Capital Management (Oracle HCM)
