We have an exciting opportunity for a Sales Engineerto join a leading provider of connectivity for live events sports and media production.
About the Role
As a Sales Engineer specialising in broadcast connectivity you will:
Manage local access procurement for connectivity solutions ensuring optimal capacity for live events and 24/7 broadcast feeds.
Collaborate with network service providers to design and implement reliable and highperformance connectivity solutions.
Advise on routing strategies to maximize network diversity and minimize jitter ensuring seamless broadcast delivery.
Support other sales engineers by providing technical expertise and negotiating with telecom providers for optimal solutions.
Contribute to the design and implementation of connectivity solutions tailored to broadcast client needs.
This role offers the opportunity to work on highprofile live events and contribute to the delivery of broadcastquality connectivity solutions.
What Were Looking For
We are looking for candidates with:
Strongnetwork engineering skills with experience in video transport and broadcast environments.
A deep understanding of connectivity solutions including bandwidth requirements network routing and video compression technologies.
Familiarity with broadcastspecific protocols such as SRT RIST and SMPTE 2110.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with both technical and nontechnical stakeholders.
A proactive and adaptable approach to problemsolving in fastpaced live production environments.
Candidates must be based in the UK and the company are open to remote working within the UK with travel to the office in London twice a month.
