Senior Associate Finance Operations Reconciliations Trade Operations

The Senior Associate Finance & Operations (Reconciliations / Trade Operations) will be responsible for a broad range of Operational functions across multiple portfolios comprised of publicly traded real estate debt assets. Assets include: CMBS RMBS Corporate Debt Equities Repurchase Agreements and Hedging Derivatives. Will be primarily focused on Asset Servicing Reconciliation and helping to maintain various funds Books and Records. This role requires interaction with Fund Administrators Accounting Custodians Trustees and other Operations professionals.

What you will do:

• Oversee the daily and monthly cash and position reconciliation process for the portfolio accounting system; investigate and resolve discrepancies with counterparties brokers and administrators
• Process interest and principal payments and factor updates for various products in the portfolio; ensure entries are properly recorded in portfolio accounting system
• Supervise offshore teams managing recurring tasks for the Investment Operations Team
• Assist the broader group in various Treasury and Cash Management functions
• Liaise with technology on the implementation of new systems and tools
• Liaise with the Investment team and work with Technology and the Finance group to develop new reports and tools used to enhance internal and investor reporting
• Assist the broader group in various Treasury and Cash Management functions
• Assist with KYC/AML/QIB Documentation

What you should have:

• Bachelors degree in finance Accounting Real Estate or related discipline required.
• 35 years experience in assetbased finance or structured credit with an asset management firm private equity firm lender owner / operator servicer rating agency investment bank or broker is preferred.
• Strong analytical skills with demonstrable experience in analyzing quantitative and qualitative research.
• Excellent in clear and effective communications with the ability to engage with a diverse range of stakeholders.
• Motivated to excel in a collaborative fastpaced environment working with competing deadlines.
• Robust attention to detail.
• Demonstrates curiosity with a commitment to continuous improvement.
• Private Credit experience is a plus.
• Advanced skills in Excel.
• Geneva experience a plus.
