Our Fabrication shop specializes in the design and fabrication of pressure piping fittings and vessels. Our expertise includes a wide range of alloy materials and specialized fabrication and welding processes. We pair engineering and manufacturing capabilities to deliver tailored solutions for our clients.
The Role
We are currently recruiting an experienced Coating Foreman to oversee and manage the coating projects in both our yard and field operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in industrial coatings application processes and quality control. This role requires a handson leader who can coordinate crews ensure compliance with safety and industry standards and deliver high quality results on time and within budget.
Compensation/Benefits
- Can hire as a direct employee or as a *Direct Service Provider/Sub Contractor.
- Competitive hourly wage. Negotiable based on experience.
- 10 vacation and stat pay on all regular hours worked.

Key Duties/Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate daily coating activities in the yard and field
- Ensure proper surface preparation coating application and curing procedures are followed
- Oversee and conduct quality control inspections to ensure coatings meet specifications and industry standards
- Train and mentor crew members on best practices and safety protols
- Monitor and enforce safety procedures ensuring compliance with company policies
- Maintain accurate records of project progress materials used and quality control checks
- Troubleshoot issues related to coating processes and provide solutions to maintain efficiency
- Coordinate with Project Managers Operations Managers clients and inspectors to ensure smooth project
- Ensure all equipment and tools are properly maintained
Educational/Work Experience Requirements
- 3 years of experience in industrial coatings painting surface preparation with at least 2 years in a supervisory role
- Strong knowledge of coating application methods surface preparation techniques and quality control testing
- Prefer applicants to have Denso SPC Stopaq NACE/AMPP coating tickets
- Preference given to those that have First Aid LSE Fall Protection H2S Alive Confined Space tickets
- Class 5 drivers license and a good driving record required.
- Strong understanding of safety procedures and regulations related to coating operations
- Strong communication skills to liaise with management clients contractors and vendors
- Experience working within a Google based environment using Google sheets Docs Gmail Calendar etc.
- Excellent english communication skills
