The Radiologic Technologist will perform quality xrays per physicians orders while providing excellent service to patients in a surgical/OR setting using CArm
Current Openings:
Crosstown Surgery Center in Edina .8 FTE 6:00am2:30pm Monday thru Friday.
Two Twelve Surgery Center in Chaska .8 FTE and Casual Monday thru Friday between 6am5pm.
Twin Cities Orthopedics is an operating division of Infinite Health Collaborative (iHealth) a group of local medical practices owned and led by its physicians on a mission to give patients more control over their healthcare.
Essential Functions:
- Perform and develop quality xrays on designated portions of the body for physicians use indiagnosing and treating illness or injury
- Inform and prepare patients for procedure
- Maintain radiology files including internal and external films
- Prepare clean and stock work area with supplies
- Coordinate equipment maintenance and repair
- Maintain the necessary precautions for excessive exposure to radiation
- May supply patients with requested xrays
- Assist provider teams in obtaining imaging from other medical facilities for clinics andsurgeries as needed
- Any and all other duties as assigned
Education and Experience Requirements:
- Graduate of an ARRTapproved Radiologic Technology Program
- ARRT Certification in radiology required within 60 days of employment
- Previous radiology experience preferred
- Current BLS certification or completed upon hire

- Actual starting pay will vary based on education skills and experience.

Essential Requirements:
Ability to:

- Demonstrate prompt and reliable attendance
- Work in the clinic during business hours
- Travel independently throughout the clinic (which may include movement from floor to floor); frequent bending lifting standing stooping or sitting for long periods of time may be required
- Work at an efficient and productive pace handle interruptions appropriately and meet deadlines
- Communicate and interact in a respectful and professional manner
- Prioritize workload while being flexible to meet the expectations of the daily operations
- Apply principles of logical thinking to define problems establish facts and draw valid conclusions
- Understand and execute a variety of instructions
- Effectively operate equipment and communicate on and operate the phone system
- Work independently with minimal supervision
- Travel to other work locations if required
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to work independently at least 90 of the time.
- Frequent lift up to 35 lbs. occasional lift up to 50 lbs.
- Push/pull occasionally up to 50 lbs. or persons in wheelchairs weighing up to 300 lbs.
- Frequent patient positioning including bending stooping squatting twisting & reaching.
