Are you passionate about education and detailoriented Indian River State College (IRSC) is looking for a dedicated Interim Curriculum Support Specialist to join our dynamic team!
The essential job functions and responsibilities for this position include but are not limited to:
Maintaining a strong working knowledge of IRSCs educational programs and courses.
Training/overseeing data entry in IRSCs Student System.
Maintaining data entry in IRSCs online working catalog.
Working with the Statewide Course Number System.
Responding to inquiries both in writing and by telephone.
SPECIFIC DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
The specific duties and responsibilities of this position include but are not limited to:
Ensuring compliance to State guidelines for programs courses and common course numbering.
Assisting instructional areas with curriculum development SACSCOC and State and Curriculum Committee submissions.
Preserving curriculum records.
Reviewing and updating the Colleges online catalog.
Running custom reports in Workday as needed.
Monitoring all course sections for accuracy in data entry.
Assisting schedulers at all campuses.
Updating fees on course sections.
Entering date controls each term.
Notifying Deans/Campus Presidents of course sections needing attention relative to location instructor or enrollment.
Testing Workday releases on a biannual basis.
Reviewing College publications.
Maintaining and ordering office supplies.
Completing other duties and responsibilities as assigned by the Director of Curriculum Support
QUALIFICATIONS KNOWLEDGE AND SKILL REQUIREMENTS:
The qualifications and skill requirements for this position include but are not limited to:
Bachelors degree in any discipline.
A minimum of two 2 years proven work experience in a postsecondary educational environment.
Proven experience working with Microsoft Office and Windows based computer applications.
Exceptional skills in Excel.
Exceptional customer service time management organizational and interpersonal skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to maintain accuracy and be detail oriented.
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and be selfmotivated.
Ability to work as a functioning member of a team.
Ability to exhibit sound judgment and discretion in working with confidential information student records administrators faculty and staff at IRSC SCNS and other educational institutions.
Possess a strong work ethic.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
This position requires an ability to sit stand walk bend lift reach up stoop and carry items occasionally in excess of twentyfive 25 pounds. It also requires manual dexterity to operate standard office machines such as copier fax calculator telephone and other equipment as necessary. IRSC expects its employees to follow proper safety standards while employed by the College.
