Company:
The Boeing CompanyBoeing Defense Space & Security (BDS) Missile & Systems Operations has an exciting opportunity for an Associate Shipside Operations Specialist to join our Production Operations team in Huntsville AL.
This position will work in our fastpaced and dynamic production environment to align the Operations Team with Program Leadership customer counterparts and crossfunctional partners to remove roadblocks and stabilize operations.
Position Responsibilities:
Assists with activities across multiple functions to coordinate resolution of emergent issues in support of specific operations
Conducts assessments of processes and practices for comparison to applicable standards and criteria
Provides limited feedback on assessment results
Support the teammates in implementation of strategies and plans
Works under general supervision
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
High School diploma
1 years experience with Word Excel Access Outlook and SharePoint
1 years experience in a Manufacturing Operations environment
1 years experience collecting analyzing and interpreting data and managing projects
1 years experience implementing lean methodologies and productivity improvements
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
Bachelors degree or equivalent experience
Manufacturing Systems common image (MESci) experience
Experience in the Aerospace & Defense Industry and/or the military
Experience interfacing with senior and executive leadership
Experience using Shipside Action Tracker
Work Location:
This position is expected to be 100 onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.
