JOB TITLE:
Archives Aid Expeditor
JOB PURPOSE:
Job purpose consists of assisting the AHC Accessioning Unit by placing newly rehoused and listed collection material into the archival storage areas and completing accompanying paperwork and data entry for essential work flows within the AHC.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Duties include performing weekly shelf checks to ensure collections are returned to proper storage entering data into the AHC collection management database and carrying out additional support tasks for the Collections Management Department. These tasks include filing general cleaning and maintenance operation of a large format shredding machine and other duties as assigned. Reports to the Accessioning Unit Supervisor.
SUPPLEMENTAL FUNCTIONS:

COMPETENCIES:
- Ability to work independently
- Ability to perform manual labor tasks and regularly lift up to 80lbs. with or without reasonable accommodation.
- Ability to organize and complete multiple tasks in a timely manner.
- Valid drivers license with a motor vehicle record (MVR) compliant with the University Vehicle Use Policy.
- Working knowledge of computer data entry and familiarity with Microsoft programs
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- High school diploma/GED
- No related experience required though must have 1year work history
- Valid drivers license with a motor vehicle record (MVR) compliant with the University Vehicle Use Policy.
DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Basic understanding of hand and power tools
- Rudimentary clerical skills and knowledge of office protocols.
