RESPONSIBILITIES

• Under the supervision of the Pharmacy Intake Manager the Pharmacy Patient Advocate Coordinator will assist with organizing all activities relating to patient financial assistance.

• The Pharmacy Patient Advocate Coordinator will keep open lines of communication with their immediate supervisor and/or manager and partner closely with other pharmacy and functional departments to ensure synergies and crossdepartmental effectiveness.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent required.

• Previous Experience: Two 2 years of experience with financial assistance programs in a pharmacy or medical setting is required.

• Six months minimum experience within Rx To Go Pharmacy.

• Previous experience in a coordinator or lead role preferred.

• Core Capabilities:

• Communication Skills: Effective communication skills (oral written presentation) is an active listener and effectively provides balanced feedback.

• Ability to build an engaging culture of quality performance effectiveness and operational excellence through best practices strong business and political acumen collaboration and partnerships as well as a positive employee physician and community relations.

• SelfManagement: Effectively manages own time conflicting priorities self stress and professional development.

• Selfmotivated and selfstarter with ability work independently with limited supervision.

• Must be able to work effectively in a fastpaced multisite environment with demonstrated ability to juggle competing priorities and demands from a variety of stakeholders and sites.

• Computer Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office: Word Excel PowerPoint and Outlook required.

• Proficiency in CPR ONCO and ORCA required.

• Certifications/Licenses: Active Florida Registered Pharmacy Technician (RPT) license is preferred. Travel: 25
