Job Description

Patient Registration Coordinator

Reports to: Practice Manager
Key Partnerships: Billing Clinical Operations
Department: Operations
Salary: $14-16/hr (based on experience)
Classification: Non-Exempt
Status: Full Time

    Were looking for a welcoming and detail-oriented Patient Registration Coordinator to join our front desk team. As the first point of contact for our patients you play a vital role in creating a warm and professional environment while ensuring accurate and efficient registration and scheduling.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Greet patients with professionalism empathy and a positive attitude
  • Accurately collect and enter patient information into our system

  • Capable of placing outbound calls to schedule appointments

  • Verifying patient information and creating a warm friendly environment

  • Ensuring patient checkouts and upcoming appointments are scheduled

  • Calling to confirm upcoming patient appointments

  • Verify insurance eligibility and explain financial policies

  • Schedule appointments and manage front office workflow

  • Answer phone calls and respond to patient inquiries promptly

  • Collaborate with clinical and administrative teams to support smooth office operations

  • Maintain confidentiality of all patient information and comply with HIPAA regulations

Basic Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Previous experience in a dental or healthcare front office is preferred but not required

  • Strong communication and customer service skills

  • Comfort with computers scheduling software and multitasking in a busy environment

  • A team player with a willingness to learn and grow

  • Ability to communicate effectively with patients and co-workers.
