Established in 1955 Soucie Salo Safety Inc. has evolved from a retailer of work boots and clothing for the working man to a full line distributor of personal protective equipment and safety equipment for workers and companies in the mining construction forestry government health care manufacturing and service industries.

A vital strength within Soucie Salo Safety is its team of dedicated honest and customer oriented employees. A willingness to improve and achieve is evident throughout the company with the focus on value added services for our customers technological advances and employee training.

Our Sudbury/Timmins location is currently seeking an Account Manager.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop a strong list of targeted strategic customers by building strategies and executing a defined plan
  • Manage and build strong relationships with clients
  • Promote all product verticals strategic vendors and product lines to increase revenue and margin for any Source Atlantic and Soucie Salo safety branch
  • Support and grow selected company initiatives
  • Identify product service and solution opportunities with new customers existing customers and new market segments
  • Have an indepth knowledge of the business and be able to create a solid value proposition
  • Write business proposals
  • Negotiate with key stake holders with clients
  • Continue to research new business streams projects that would be good viable income streams
  • Follow and stay on top of all key industry trends
  • Be part of the team to draft and review contracts
  • Report and track activity in the CRM and hold regular meetings with management on progress

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 3 years of industrial sales experience
  • Excellent communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills required
  • Ability to work in a high performance fastpaced team environment
  • Proactive motivated professional selfstarter
  • Ability to use Internet and Microsoft Office effectively with strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel
  • Excellent problem solving and negotiation skills
  • Travel required
  • Knowledge of the wholesale industrial distribution industry is valuable but not required
