About the role
The Indigenous Workforce Partner plays a vital role in shaping and implementing programs and initiatives that drive Federations Indigenous employment objectives. Collaborating closely with senior stakeholders managers and People and Culture partners this position focuses on designing and executing innovative strategies to enhance the retention development engagement and career progression of Indigenous colleagues at Federation.
In addition the Indigenous Workforce Partner will offer expert advice and guidance to our People and Culture team Indigenous colleagues and candidates and people leaders ensuring we provide a supportive and inclusive workplace where our Indigenous workforce thrive.
About you
You are a dedicated and experienced professional with a strong background in human resources and/or Indigenous employment matters specialising in fostering diversity inclusion and equity in the workplace. With extensive expertise in engaging with and developing Indigenous talent you are deeply committed to supporting Indigenous communities and advancing their career progression through innovative strategies and initiatives. You bring a proven track record in implementing talent management solutions building meaningful stakeholder relationships and driving strategic change to create inclusive environments.
You will possess:
demonstrated experience in engaging with and supporting Indigenous talent;
excellent consulting and relationship management skills;
highly developed research analytical and conceptual skills;
strong project management skills; and
excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
