Kendrick Recruitment is currently seeking a Sous Chef for a prestigious luxury hotel group located in the Seychelles. This is a rare opportunity for an experienced and driven culinary professional to join a worldclass hospitality team in one of the most beautiful destinations in the world.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist the Executive Chef in managing all kitchen operations
Supervise and train kitchen staff to ensure high standards of food preparation and presentation
Ensure all food is prepared according to recipe specifications and quality standards
Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards in compliance with health and safety regulations
Assist in the planning and implementation of menus that reflect the concept and vision of the hotel
Manage inventory stock control and ordering of kitchen supplies
Ensure cost control and waste reduction practices are followed
Lead by example promoting a positive and professional kitchen culture
Requirements:
Culinary diploma or equivalent qualification from a recognized institution
Minimum of 3 5 years experience in a similar role within a luxury hotel or resort environment
Proven ability to lead a team in a highpressure kitchen
Strong knowledge of international cuisines and modern culinary techniques
Exceptional attention to detail creativity and a passion for excellence
Ability to work flexible hours including evenings weekends and holidays
Fluent in English; additional languages an advantage
