Our client is an innovative Canadian robotics company specializing in pioneering software platforms for the advancement and commercialization of robotics and machine vision in advanced manufacturing.
Presently they are looking for a Business Development Manager who will be responsible for creating planning and implementing sales strategies and business development initiatives for their products and solutions. The candidate should have the ability to develop sales processes build relationships with stakeholders to address customer pain points ultimately contributing to business growth.
Main duties:
- Creates plans and implements sales strategy and strategic business development initiatives
- Defines key sales targets and establishes appropriate metrics and measurement tools to monitor performance.
- Research and identify potential clients or customers who fit the target market.
- Serve as the technical expert and trusted advisor to manufacturing customers around automation solutions
- By applying subject matter expertise you build and maintain client relationships and help their complex automation challenges
- Collaborate with technical team members to help identify progress and close commercial opportunities
- Develop sales processes and build relationships to offer solution that solve customer pain points
Requirements
Essential skills and experience:
- Minimum 8 years of experience in selling automation solutions
- Familiar with Lease Finance Robotasa Service models
- Proven track record of being selfmotivated and creative capable of working independently with minimal supervision as exhibited by experience in startup environments or proactively developing new processes from scratch.
- Ability to effectively communicate product value propositions negotiate commercial contracts and close deals
- Preferred experience in sales of woodworking machinery and automation systems within the automotive manufacturing industry
- Comfortable with traveling internationally for work
- Ability to take initiative and selfmanage to achieve key objectives and company KPIs
- Great time management skills and the ability to work well independently and in team environments.
- Ability to communicate and collaborate effectively across multiple teams.
