As a Principal Software Engineer you will design implement and evangelise for crossteam projects that both have a companywide business impact and at the same time pushing our technical statusquo forward. We expect you to be mindful approachable experienced in a wide range of technologies and an expert in designing & building highly available distributed systems.

Who you are
Passionate about technology but also interested in the business impact of projects you work on
Able to gather requirements create a delivery plan and handle alignment between different teams/departments to deliver your project you will have endtoend responsibility.
Able to lead internal discussions about the direction of major areas of technology in Omio
Able to mentor & inspire engineers across the organisation
As a thoughtful leader and evangelist you work out architecture engineering best practices and solutions across the Tech department. We expect you to contribute to both internal and external techtalks representing Omio
You provide full and detailed analysis insightful comments and recommendations for action. You contribute to the development of the tribe strategy across the organisation
Your skill set:
10 years in Software Engineering position
Deep knowledge in the JVM environment largescale distributed systems and cloud solutions
Solid communication competences to transport vision align teams and to advise the management team good English language skills
Experience in new product development and project management
Demonstrated ability to interact and collaborate with all levels of internal and external customers
Proactive problem solving you resolve obstacles before they can become problems
Method expert ability to quickly interpret an extensive variety of technical information and find resolution and the method to an issue quickly.
