Job Description
Senior Backend Developer (Python/Go)
Base salary in the range of $150000 to $200000 plus equity. Minimum Experience Required: 5 years of professional experience in backend development with Python or Go. Work Authorization: Candidates must be authorized to work in the United States. We cannot sponsor work visas at this time. Location: 100 Remote.

The Opportunity: We are looking for a Senior Backend Developer to lead our backend development efforts. You will design build and scale our backend systems mentor junior developers and contribute to architectural decisions. If you are passionate about writing clean efficient and scalable code and you thrive in a fastpaced environment this is the perfect opportunity for you.
What Youll Do:
Design and implement highperformance backend services using Python or Go.
Lead architectural discussions and contribute to system design.
Mentor and guide junior backend developers.
Optimize database performance and scalability.
Design and build robust APIs (RESTful or GraphQL).
Implement complex business logic and algorithms.
Ensure code quality and maintainability through code reviews and testing.
Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to deliver highquality software.
What You Bring:
5 years of professional experience in backend development with Python or Go.
Strong understanding of software engineering principles and best practices.
Experience with relational and/or NoSQL databases (e.g. PostgreSQL MySQL MongoDB Redis).
Expertise in API design (RESTful or GraphQL).
Experience with containerization (Docker) and orchestration (Kubernetes).
Strong problemsolving and debugging skills.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Experience with cloud platforms (e.g. AWS GCP Azure).
Bonus Points:
Experience with message queues (e.g. Kafka RabbitMQ).
Contributions to opensource projects.
Familiarity with performance monitoring and optimization tools.
Knowledge of microservices architecture.
