The Digital Customer Experience (DCX) team creates consumergrade digital experiences and products that help our customers and partners be successful and realize the value of their ServiceNow investment. As a Staff Software Engineer within DCX you will build highquality secure code thats scalable and reusable. Grow our business by bringing internal products to the world and find new ways to simplify how employees and customers work. Implement software that empowers internal customers to extend what it can do to meet their specific needs as our own customer zero.

What you get to do in this role:

• Working closely with Engineering Managers and other Architects in the team to develop best in class technical designs in building enterprise grade software.
• Designing and Developing high quality applications leveraging the industry leading ServiceNow platform
• Developing across the full stack of Web technologies JavaScript AngularJS React HTML CSS and SQL
• Working in a Scrumbased Agile development process that is light on documentation and meetings and heavy on coding
• Design and implement software that is simple intuitive and easy to use that will allow customers to extend and customize the functionality to meet their specific business needs
• Play a key role in the design and implementation of new products and features while also enhancing the existing product suite
• Translate requirements and mockups into fully functional features by working closely with business and product owners and creative designers
• Build rich modern web and mobile web experiences that are accessible progressive and responsive
• Responsible for mentoring and grooming lead engineers to be the next line of architects.

Qualifications :

To be successful in this role you have:

• Experience in leveraging or critically thinking about how to integrate AI into work processes decisionmaking or problemsolving. This may include using AIpowered tools automating workflows analyzing AIdriven insights or exploring AIs potential impact on the function or industry. 
• 8 years of Industry experience with a minimum of 3 years of leading a high performing team.
• 5 years of experience with Java or JavaScript plus front end technologies like Angular JS or React
• Expertise in various architectural models including domaindriven design microservicesarchitecture eventdrivenarchitecture and microfrontendarchitecture.
• Indepth knowledge of multiple technology stacks: Cloud service providers (Azure AWS) Messaging platforms (Kafka Dell Boomi) Languages (Java JavaScript) UI Frameworks (Angular React) Monitoring systems (Splunk Catchpoint) Essential cloud services (API Gateways CDN) and Web Technologies.
• Strong experience in building smart systems with an indepth understanding of AI & ML concepts and data processing mechanisms with a focus on automation productivity and consumergrade experience  
• Experience and deep knowledge of the ServiceNow platform is preferable.
• Demonstrated strong communications skills; must collaborate and/or influence peers through explanation of facts policies and practices
• Highquality organizational and leadership skills with the ability to strongly influence without authority
