Joining our ranks as a Cloud Architect (AWS) youll play a critical role in pushing the frontier of whats possible to deliver to our customers using cloud services. In this exciting role youll be responsible for:
- Designing and modernizing the landscape of existing cloud architectures;
- Shaping recommended practices and guidelines with our internal customers;
- Working together with peering IT teams and their business counterparts to further drive the adoption of the cloud at Continental and generate business value;
- Collaborating with the infrastructure teams to express the needs of our customers;
- Making sure were consuming the right cloud services for the use cases;
- Optimizing overall cloud spend.
Qualifications :
- University degree in Computer Science Software Engineering or other related field;
- >2 years of professional software development experience showcased by a portfolio of previous work;
- Previous experience in designing building and maintaining applications in the AWS cloud;
- Previous experience in a customer facing role;
- Experience programming with at least one highlevel programming language (preferably Python or TypeScript);
- Solid knowledge of Infrastructure as Code tooling e.g. AWS CDK or Terraform;
- Strong communication skills and ability to work in a fastpaced environment with a teamoriented attitude;
- Professional working proficiency in English.
