Job Description
Job Title: Quality Assurance Coordinator Food Import & Wholesale
Location: Rubery Birmingham (Officebased/ 1 day WFH)
Salary: cir 35000pa Annual Bonus
Job Type: Fulltime

About the Role:
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a motivated and driven Quality Assurance Coordinator to join a fastgrowing and dynamic food import and distribution company. This is a key role for someone who is passionate about food safety quality assurance and compliance looking to make a real impact within a growing organisation.
Youll be responsible for implementing managing and developing the companys food safety and quality assurance systems working across multiple product categories and supplier networks.

Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain quality assurance procedures and documentation in line with UK regulations
- Stay uptodate on food industry standards legislation and best practices
- Maintain supplier databases product specifications technical documentation and traceability systems
- Ensure packaging and labelling compliance for all imported and distributed products
- Handle qualityrelated customer complaints working with suppliers and internal teams for resolution
- Support and potentially lead the implementation of BRCGS Agent & Broker certification
- Liaise regularly with suppliers internal teams and customers regarding quality standards
- Assist with procurement and supply chain quality improvements as needed
Ideal Candidate Profile:
- Degree in Food Science or a related field
- Minimum 2 years of experience in food quality assurance within the UK food industry
- Strong working knowledge of BRCGS/IFS Standards HACCP UK/EU food regulations
- Excellent attention to detail with strong analytical and problemsolving skills
- Confident communicator with a positive handson attitude
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines in a fastpaced environment
