Job Title: Sr. Infrastructure Engineer Project Lead
Primary Location: Remote Candidates residing near Chicago Illinois and open to potentially being onsite/inperson for occasional teambuilding purposes is highly preferred!
Position Type: Contract 6 months
Overview: Seeking a detailoriented and experienced Senior InfrastructureEngineer Project Lead for our premier client. This is a 6month contract role that will be primarily remote. We seek candidates near Chicago Illinois who are open to potential inperson team building and/or meetings. As the SME/Seniorlevel Project Lead End User Computing you will play a pivotal role in completing the tasks outlined below. What You Bring to the Role:
Bachelors degree in computer science Information Technology or a related field preferred.
57 years of proven experience as an Endpoint Engineering End User Computing
Engineering SCCM Engineering or a similar role.
Experience in architecting and managing projects in Infrastructure End User Computing (EUC); including implementations of newer technologies.
Intune & SCCM Subject Matter Expert (SME) highly preferred!
Architect mindset with experience designing and implementing new technologies within Engineering or Architecture roles such as Autopilot migration and other cloudbased implementations.
Strategic and Architectural Responsibilities:
Lead the design and implementation of new technologies and solutions ensuring alignment with organizational goals and strategies.
Develop and maintain architectural standards and best practices for endpoint management and infrastructure.
Provide strategic guidance and technical leadership to the engineering team fostering a culture of innovation and continuous improvement.
Project Management Responsibilities:
Manage and oversee multiple projects simultaneously ensuring timely delivery and adherence to project scope and budget.
Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to define project requirements objectives and deliverables.
Develop detailed project plans including timelines resource allocation and risk management strategies.
Monitor project progress identify potential issues and implement corrective actions as needed.
Communicate project status and updates to stakeholders ensuring transparency and alignment.
What Youll Do:
Oversee and support handson the following tasks and projects:
PC and software asset management.
Engineering of MEM/MECM (SCCM) environments.
Policy management of devices using AD GPO and Intune.
Directory management within Azure/Active Directory.
Report creation/enhancements of the various technologies under End User Engineering support (Incidents devices patches etc..
Incident resolution and problem management of items escalated by L1/L2 support staff.
Product and software research and investigation.
Perform other duties as requested.
Compensation Information: The expected salary range for this position is $50 $65 per hour depending on experience and qualifications. This role also qualifies for comprehensive benefits such as health insurance and paid time off. TalentFish is committed to pay transparency and equal opportunity.
